Tara Kuk (formerly Burton) lives in Clearwater, FL with her husband Mike and their two dogs Rufus (2 years) and Rylee (1 year). She played volleyball and basketball in high school at Riverview High school in Sarasota, FL, where she grew up. Tara chose volleyball as her athletic pursuit in college and was a second-team All-American NJCAA while at Pasco-Hernando C.C. After transferring to Jacksonville University, Tara was named the TAAC conference player of the year in her senior season. She was also invited to try out for the U.S. National Team in 2000. Tara's currently pursuing a professional beach volleyball career and the #1 ranking on the EVP pro tour. Along with playing volleyball, she is also the varsity volleyball coach and physical education teacher at Palm Harbor University High School in Florida.
