I was born and raised in Vista, California, in North San Diego County. I started playing volleyball in my grandparents' backyard when I was 10. Once I started playing I couldn't stop. I played in recreational leagues when I was younger and played Varsity and club volleyball throughout high school. I received a scholarship to play at the University of Arizona where I absolutely loved the school, my teammates, and my coaches. That was one of the best experiences of my life. After graduating, I moved back to San Diego and after taking a year off of volleyball I started playing beach. I had never played before and it was difficult getting used to playing in the sand. Now that I have gotten used to it, I am loving traveling and getting to play all over the US.
