I started playing volleyball when I was six years old because my mom was a coach and I tagged along to everything. In high school, I had the privilege of being surrounded by several talented girls and my sophomore year we were CIF champions. My senior year, I earned MVP of the league & player of the year for our region. I went on to play at UCSD. Our highest finish was 3rd in the nation. Even though we were 2 shy from the top, it's a memory I'll cherish forever. On the side of all this indoor play, I dabbled with beach & grass doubles starting at age 14. It wasn't until I was 23 that I decided to take it seriously. I have been truly inspired by the other "VolleyChick's" and have become addicted to this game.
